 Hi everyone!

My name is Brittany and I am a casual reseller of goods! I sell a mix of my own belongings (and those of friends and family) and I do some very casual sourcing at local garage sales and thrift stores.

I have been putting aside the money to help pay for tuition and living expenses of my up coming graduate program that beings in August 2022. Some of the cost has been covered by institutional funding but, as many of you know, continuing education is costly. 

To deal with taxes, I put aside 50% of every sale in a savings account and meretriciously keep track of receipts, costs of goods, expenses, etc., etc. 

On top of my reselling efforts, I work! I am a Professional Writing Consultant at a local university where I help all levels of students and alumni work on improving any and all things dealing with words! This job is amazing because it has endlessly fostered my own growth and skills. 

At the same time, I use rebate and coupon websites and apps to earn back money on every purchase myself and my spouse make. This is not a huge money maker, but it's easy to do and can really add up!

This blog is going to be very lazy. You'll learn quickly that earning lazy money is how I roll! Yes, I could be far more actively in finances and more aggressively build long term wealth--and to some extent I do! There are a couple of high yield savings accounts I use, I have a Roth IRA, a HSA, and a few other long term savings my spouse and I use--but those accounts are not contributing to my tuition.

For the most part, I will be using this blog to post pictures and my reselling listings to help SEO on Google which will help my listings get more visibility--hopefully!!

It is likely that I will eventually post some of my personal money saving habits, but it must be noted that I am NOT an export in anyway! You should always seek the guidance of a financial professional for real help.
